Hi my name’s Daniel and I’m originally from Goiânia, Brazil. I graduated in Languages at the Catholic University of Goiás in 2004 and since then have been a full-time EFL/ESL teacher.

I had the opportunity to live a few years in London and then Dublin, where I took my CELTA certificate at IH Dublin. 

I joined IH Braga in 2018 and it has been great to work here and I hope to be part of the IH Braga team for many many years.

I think the most rewarding part of being a language teacher is the chance to have a positive role in someone’s life.

My family here in Braga is basically I, my beautiful wife Dayane and our French bulldog ‘Batman’. We enjoy spending time together at home watching films, sports and I also enjoy cooking, taking road trips, playing tennis or the drums.
